Frequently Asked Questions
Before contacting us, have a skim through this list. We may have already answered your question!
Are your false eyelashes made of any kind of animal fur, e.g mink?
No. We are an online store so we source from a supplier that makes false lashes from synthetic fibres, just like any of your favourite high street brands. We do not believe in using an animal's fur for false eyelashes when there are safe synthetic alternatives! There is no such thing as cruelty free mink eyelashes due to the terrible living conditions of these animals. Read more about mink farms here. As a result of this, we would never knowingly buy or sell any lashes made of animal hair.
What are synthetic eyelashes made from?
Depending on the lash style, synthetic lashes are either made with acrylic resin or they are made with a thermoplastic called Polybutylene Terephthalate (PBT). Synthetic 3D lashes tend to be made with PBT to give them a fluffier texture. The difference in production method means some fibres may be matte, while others have a shinier finish. It can also affect the softness of the fibres. Acrylic resin tends to leave false lashes slightly more rigid.
How many times can I reuse my lashes?
Our 3D synthetic lashes can be re-used up to 10 times (possibly more) if cared for properly.
How can I care for my lashes properly?
Check out our lash care page for tips.
Are your lashes sold with glue?
No, our lashes are not sold with glue. This is so that people can safely purchase their own type of glue, as some people may require latex free, for example. The recommended glue for these lashes is Eylure Lashfix. It has long lasting hold and peels away from the band with ease after wear.
